The Quincy

Endeavor Real Estate Group hired me to enhance the exterior of one of their latest properties, The Quincy, with a mural that would help attract visitors to the building. Our main goal was to create a photo-worthy mural that would help generate some buzz on social media and positively engage with the local community.

The design features inspiration from local plant life, and includes a nod to Rainey Street’s history with the inclusion of “Geraldine” - a guinea fowl who used to call the neighborhood home. You’ll also see some subtle elements near the bottom that tie the mural back to the area and the experience of walking around Lady Bird Lake. There’s sunbathing turtles, giant elephant ear, and repetitive wavy lines to hint at the lake.
