I created this original painting as a reminder to roll with the punches. Life will surprise you and how you react to those surprises determines your overall well-being. I tend to draw inspiration from nature and memory. The floral illustrations seen in most of my work are imaginative interpretations of scenes from my childhood. My mother was always tending to her gardens and I grew up around a variety of flowers. These happy memories translate into dense botanical compositions saturated with bright color palettes.
