This is the first of (2) new murals I designed and painted for the uShip headquarters office in downtown Austin. They wanted me to incorporate their logo, but give it my own unique spin. I added a 3-dimensional element to the letters with a thin inline detail for added pop. I used abstracted shapes in the background to play with the idea of movement and transportation in a less direct and obvious way. The final result is a super clean piece that was entirely painted by hand. I used this mural as an opportunity to flex my muscle memory and train my eye and hand to produce crisp straight edges without the use of tape. I’m very proud of the end result.
