CLIENT: Infinite Monkey Theorem Urban Winery
After outgrowing its original location off South Congress Avenue, the Infinite Monkey Theorem moved its winery and tasting room to a much larger facility in East Austin. 20 artists were brought on to transform the bare warehouse space into a cozy urban museum. I painted 2 murals on site as part of the project. For this corner near the bar, I chose the phrase “Cheers, Austin” to create a photo opportunity for the winery’s customers as well as give the business something to use as a backdrop in future marketing campaigns. I decided to pair a fun, bold script with a geometric and striking sans serif. Because the mural is located in a darker corner of the space with little direct lighting, I chose to pair a stark white with playful pops of bright pink and turquoise to help the message stand out.
